Every 2 minutes a woman somewhere in the world dies of cervical cancer. Help us help women in Australia and developing countries to lead full and healthy lives.
Every cent counts. For as little as $20 we can help girls and women in Australia and developing countries, by eliminating the suffering caused by cervical cancer.
Fundraising ideas
- ACCF Dress day at the office– use the ACCF’s colours– orange, yellow, red for a gold coin donation.
- Have a makeover evening or afternoon – invite your besties for a facial or makeover, ask your beautician to donate their time and/or a percentage of the products sold.
- Run a Raffle – approach local business e.g. your local bakery, music or clothes stores for a donation or gift certificate and then raffle their services or products.
- Film night – organise a film night at your local movie theatre.
- Stay in for ACCF – invite your friends around to watch a DVD or play cards or have a board games tournament and order some pizza, or your favourite fast food, ask everyone for a donation at the door.
- Get a team together for a walkathon – and raise money for ACCF by getting people to sponsor you.
- You can be a Hero – it is easy to set up an Everyday Hero account at http://www.everydayhero.com.au/ and invite family and friends, customers and colleagues to support your fundraiser.
- Take part in our community adventure challenge – you can join one of our adventure challenges and travel to one of our overseas destinations (like Nepal or Bhutan), take part in a community project and then trek through the glorious countryside. Get your friends to sponsor your fundraising efforts and help make a difference today.

Be inspired by past fundraisers...
Jean Emery, Lisa Jenner, and Alesha Jennar (pictured below)each have women in their family who have been affected by cervical cancer. So, at their Team Penning Championships in 2011 they hosted a raffle on behalf of ACCF. The raffle was a huge success, raising $683. This money will go towards the ACCF's work, raising awareness of cervical cancer and providing vaccincation and treatment to women in developing countries. Support like this is what enables ACCF to keep up it's work.
