Schools Awareness Programs

ACCF’s Schools Awareness Program is aimed at girls from the age of 12 to raise their awareness about the important issue of cervical cancer and HPV immunisation. This stimulating presentation can be customised in time and content to suit the needs of each school. It encourages questions from the girls which have not previously been answered for them by parents, teachers or indeed teen magazines.

Schools can also participate in the “ACCF Real Life Challenge” which offers life-changing opportunities by preparing students to participate in a travel adventure in one of the developing countries where ACCF operates.

This gives a genuine cultural experience of some of the world’s most fascinating countries and at the same time offers the chance to enjoy giving practical hands-on assistance to ACCF’s unique international aid project, helping to save lives and foster global goodwill.

Through the trip preparations and fundraising and awareness activities students are mentored and guided to learn practical real life-skills to enhance their personal abilities of leadership, communication, organisation, planning and team-work. They discover to effectively get things done and make a real difference for themselves and others.
