Pap Smears

Are you up to date with your pap smear?

Do you know that 40% of women don't have regular pap smears?

So we want to remind you how important it is.  Australian women are fortunate to have fantastic screening processes and if abnormal cells are picked up, they can be quickly treated by your doctor and usually won't develop into cervical cancer.

In developing countries, women don't have the opportunities we have for cervical screening.  So do yourself a favour and have regular pap smears, and do women in developing countries a favour by clicking onto our donations page.  Help save a life today...

Cervical cancer is shown to be caused by HPV (human papilloma virus) when the body’s immune system is unable to fight the infection. What % of people are likely to be exposed to HPV in their lifetime?
